Skiing, seals and rugby!

We’re having the most fantastic winter weather and not only are there perfect skiing conditions with clear sunny blue skies, it’s also an incredible time to view New Zealand’s dramatic mountain scenery covered in snow.

Mid - winter is also a fantastic time to photograph seal pups. We found these 50 playful seal pups hidden up a bush track under a waterfall near Kaikoura. It’s a sight you should not miss. Combine that with whale watching, dolphins, some skiing and hot springs and you’ve got a perfect winter NZ tour.

Wildlife and Wildernerness offer
Congratulations to everyone whose taken us up on the Wilderness and Wildlife itinerary. As it seems to be popular we’ve extended this offer until September 31st. Book a minimum of 10 days fully guided or self drive holiday with us and we give you $ 600 worth of free activities – whale and dolphin watching, birding on Stewart Island  and even a Dart river jet boat wilderness safari in Queenstown!

Rugby World Cup
It’s just over a year to the Rugby World cup in New Zealand. We have managed to get a limited amount of tickets to all the England pool games as well as a selection of others. It will be a great time to be in NZ, but well worth you booking up early as accommodation will be scarce. Let us know soon if you are interested in tickets.

Lodge update
You must have a look at the Rough and Tumble Lodge new website. It is one of our favourite wilderness lodges in New Zealand. If you are looking for an Ndutu Lodge style experience in NZ - this is it. Great hosts, incredible food and the most stunning wilderness location.

Find us on Facebook – we’d love to see you there.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
